About Mary & The Meditation Project
Hello, my name is Mary, and I’ve been practicing the life-changing art of meditation for many years.
Through meditation, I have found solutions to problems, received healing from illnesses, found the home I desired, met and married my soulmate, found forgiveness for myself and others, let go of anxieties and doubts…and the list goes on.
Ultimately, through meditation, I have found love, peace and joy — and I have remembered who I am — a being of love, peace and joy.
By the way, YOU are also a being of love, peace and joy (just in case you’re not yet aware of this.) 🙂
I am a registered nurse by profession. In addition, I am a reiki practitioner and I host local meditation groups.
As of October 2017, I embarked on a new project that I’ve been wanting to do for quite some time now – that is, to bring the wonderful practice of meditation to many more people.
My intention with this project is to create and share approximately two new guided meditations per month for the next year.
Research has shown that daily meditation can improve health and well-being over time. Through meditation, we learn to approach life from a place of peace, love and creativity – a place where solutions and answers come easily to us.
The practice of meditation has truly been a life-saver for me throughout the years, and I am excited to see where The Meditation Project will take us together.
I invite you to share this journey with me and move forward in YOUR commitment to meditate often and from an ever-increasing deep level.

April 14, 2018 Update:
I just finished creating the above meditation to help counteract the physical effects of spending time on computers, driving a car, or any other activity where we tend to accumulate muscle tension in the shoulder and neck areas. You can use this short and simple meditation many times throughout your day. Take note of how you feel immediately after finishing the meditation.
