We all know that we’re not going to be here forever. In fact, no one is guaranteed another day on this planet. Just last month, Leonard Cohen died and left a legacy of music that will live on in his absence. He lived a long life and left his mark, but not everyone gets that chance. While many of us will live long, happy lives, it’s not the case for everyone. We all know of people who passed on long before anyone expected them to.
While we all have our daily responsibilities, we can choose to approach our days with a sense of gratitude and passion. When we shift into this way of living, everything about our lives will shift at the same time. It doesn’t mean our circumstances will change right away. We’ll still be living in the same place and going to the same jobs. The difference is that our long-forgotten dreams and passions will come alive again, and we’ll experience a fresh appreciation for the people and blessings in our current lives.
What’s the moral of the story? Don’t let another moment pass you by without choosing to feel alive. Say the things you’ve always wanted to say. Do the things you’ve always wanted to do. Be the greatest version of yourself today, while you have the gift of life. There’s no guarantee of tomorrow, so do it now. If not now…when?
Your Mission: What are 3 things you’ve been wanting to say, do, and be that you’ve been putting off for the ‘perfect’ time?
Pick ONE of the things you listed above and take action toward it today.
Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Forget about
those who don’t. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would most likely be worth it.
